We have a very special connection with The Pat Summitt Foundation. Our Co-Founder and Co-CEO Michelle Brooke-Marciniak played basketball at the University of Tennessee from 1993 to 1996 and was coached by Pat Summitt.

“Pat Summitt is my coach, my mentor, my friend and is the winningest coach in NCAA Division I basketball history. I learned valuable life lessons from Pat while I was her point guard at the University of Tennessee, none more important than giving back,” Brooke-Marciniak said.

Starting in March and continuing through May, we are offering a Limited Edition Pat Summitt Foundation/SHEEX® Original Performance graphite sheet set. A portion of its sales will be donated to the Foundation. “Michelle is one of the many Lady Vols who continue to support their Coach and this important work,” said Patrick Wade, director of The Pat Summitt Foundation. “She has always volunteered her time and given personal financial resources, but she shared with us that she had it on her heart to find a way to do more through her company.

We’re excited to have SHEEX® joining forces to help Pat’s foundation and her mission to fight Alzheimer’s disease and support research to find a cure.” Since her 2011 diagnosis of early-onset dementia, Alzheimer’s type, Pat has been tirelessly fighting against Alzheimer’s disease and working to raise money for the cause. We could not be more excited and honored to join in her fight to find new treatments and a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. We back Pat. Unknown

About The Pat Summitt Foundation

The Pat Summitt Foundation, a Fund of East Tennessee Foundation, was established by Pat Summitt in November 2011. Dedicated to winning the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, its mission is to award grants to exemplary non-profit organizations that advance research for treatment and a cure, provide support for patients and caregivers, and educate the public on Alzheimer’s disease. In January 2015, The Pat Summitt Foundation formed a strategic partnership with the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN to create The Pat Summitt Alzheimer’s Clinic. The Foundation launched a 5-year, $2.5 million fundraising campaign to help establish the Clinic. To learn more please visit www.patsummitt.org.
